SUBJECT:   Training the Transition Up

Now that ne waza is on the rise again, going down to ground is not a way out through a matte. It is a way to win again and players are training it. What I'm seeing more and more of at Grand Slams & Grand Prix is throwing from the transition up position...and not just for the one standing, but also the one who is trying to save their throw.
